About Me

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Yee-haw! My parents immigrated from Mexico, and since then it has been our home. In Texas, I learned how to read both Spanish and English literature. I obtained my BA in English in June 2024. During my time as a Carleton student, I worked as a translator for the Northfield Public Library and an intern at the Reference department at Carleton Gould Library. I learned aspects of the community, what it means to be a librarian, and the true essence that surrounds libraries whether they be public or academic.
